Superstar Alan Jackson Extends "NAPA AUTO PARTS PRESENTS ALAN JACKSON" 2004 Tour Schedule

Reigning CMA Entertainer and Male Vocalist Alan Jackson will be joined by the current CMA and ACM Female Vocalist, Martina McBride, for 29 Additional Concerts This Year

Pollstar's Top Ten Grossing Tours The Past Six Months

NASHVILLE, TN - Arista Nashville superstar Alan Jackson kicks off the second part of his "NAPA AUTO PARTS PRESENTS ALAN JACKSON" tour next week.  Martina McBride, the reigning CMA and ACM Female Vocalist, will again join Jackson on the road for 29 concerts culminating in November.

Touring since January of this year, Jackson's concert tour has been recognized in Pollstar's list of top ten grossing acts. Remarkably, with ticket sales and concert grosses reportedly down this year, the critically-acclaimed tour is among the rare successful standouts. Since the start of their initial 30 dates together, the tour has spurred ticket sales in excess of 420,000 tickets with an average of 14,000 tickets per show.

The Chicago Tribune raves, "During Friday's sold-out show at Allstate Arena, Jackson proved once again what he's been demonstrating since his debut in 1989: within him rests the heart and conscience of modern country music.  Jackson is the genre's indisputable standard-bearer," while the Boston Globe declares "...Jackson delivered a lively and well-paced set that reinforced his position as a giant in his genre."

Alan Jackson's "Too Much Of A Good Thing," charts this week at #12* in R&R and Billboard.  This self-penned hit is Jackson's lead single from his forthcoming studio album, What I Do, slated for release on Tuesday, September 7th.
